King is the owner and operator of Shoals Kicking Development, in which he conducts camps and gives private and group lessons around the Southeast. In all he has more than 28 years of coaching experience. He is also a teacher in the Madison City School System, teaching history at Liberty Middle School.  He also coaches tennis at Bob Jones High School. He served as a graduate assistant coach at the University of West Alabama.

King lettered in football, baseball and tennis at the collegiate level.

Coach King utilizes the "Doc" Story method of instruction.  Learn sound fundamentals and drills that will help your kicker become more consistent.  Kicking is 1/3 of football.  No coach can ignore the importance of kicking in today's competition.

Coach King was a kicking consultant for 10 years with the late "Doc" Story.  The past 28 years he has been a kicking consultant with the Auburn Kicking Camps and Georgia Tech Kicking Camps.  He is also the on-field director of the Tiffin/Pope Kicking Camp at the University of Alabama, and has worked and directed numerous day camps in the South.  He also serves as kicking coach at the University of North Alabama.
